Kaka was better than Messi & Cristiano Ronaldo

The former AC Milan star remains proud to have beaten the duo to the Ballon d'Or award in the past, while also voicing his admiration for Jose Mourinho Kaka has stressed he was a better player in his prime than Real Madrid ace Cristiano Ronaldo and Barcelona forward Lionel Messi. The Brazilian midfielder beat the illustrious duo to the Ballon d'Or and Fifa World Player of the Year awards in 2007 after an impressive season with AC Milan and he remains proud that he outdid both Messi and former team-mate Ronaldo. "I won the Ballon d'Or and World Player of Year against Cristiano and Messi," Kaka told The Daily Mail. "They win it every year now, but I could beat them back then. For me that's important because I had the best opponents. I'm proud when I see that." The 32-year-old played alongside Cristiano Ronaldo at Madrid between 2009 and 2013 and he feels they helped improve each other's game during their time together at the Santiago Bernabeu. "I definitely think we helped improve each other. It was great having him as a team-mate. I learnt a lot of things from him, every day I stuck with him and saw how he trained, how he played. It helped me a lot. "We had a great relationship off the pitch in Spain. We still have a very good one. I'm so happy that he could win the Ballon d'Or at Real Madrid. He really deserved that. He is a special player." Kaka endured a tough time under Jose Mourinho during his time at Madrid, as he was mainly warming the bench under the Portuguese, yet he has nothing but praise for the Chelsea manager. "I am so pleased to have had the opportunity to work with Mourinho, he is one of the best coaches in the world." The gifted midfielder recently joined Orlando City and he has insisted that he is not interested in a return to Europe, with friends like Oscar, Willian and Mesut Ozil trying to lure him to the Premier League. "They joke with me saying, 'Come and play for Chelsea or Arsenal' but I am so happy here in Orlando."

Ribery deserves Ballon d'Or more than Messi - Guardiola

The Bayern boss backs the winger to win the prestigious award, believing that his exploits last season put him ahead of the Barca star he once coached.

Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola has hailed Franck Ribery, suggesting that he ought to win the Ballon d'Or ahead of his former player Lionel Messi.

The Bavarians stretched their unbeaten run in the Bundesliga to 40 games after a 7-0 win over Werder Bremen on Saturday, with the France winger scoring twice on his return from a rib injury.

Guardiola, speaking after the match, revelled in the ability of the forward and stressed that he felt he was the most deserving person to be named the best player on the planet - even more so than his former charge at Barcelona, Messi.

"We have been talking about this topic for a long time now," the 42-year-old told reporters.

"Franck had an incredible season last year. His career is incredible. This year Franck is one of the reasons why we are where we are.

"Obviously lots of other players too but especially Franck. Naturally, he deserves to win the title [Ballon d'Or], this personal title, but the most important thing is he is happy with his performances last year and what he is doing now.

"Whether he loses or not is not gonna change his life, his career or our opinion about him.

"He and his team last year with Jupp [Heynckes] won everything and obviously he deserves it. But the other players are amazing too. Lionel Messi, or Cristiano Ronaldo, or another player.

"But last season for him was, without a doubt, amazing."

Guardiola also enthused about the entire Bayern side after the thrashing of Bremen, declaring himself privileged to coach such a talented group.

"It was the first game this season where we kept our positions well," the former Barcelona trainer continued.

"Every player stuck to his position and after having the ball, they want back to that same position. I want to congratulate my players, it was a very strong game from us.

"Thank you to the club for bringing these amazing players. It's an honour for me to coach them."

Bayern sit top of the Bundesliga with 41 points from 15 games, four clear or Bayer Leverkusen.

Cristiano Ronaldo VS Messi

This is a very complicated things to compare Messi and Ronaldo. One is from Portugal and another one is from Argentina. Ronaldo is the super start of Real Madrid and Messi is the super star of Barcelona.

In this year Ronaldo is ahead a step than Messi. In 2013 Messi got injured and unable to serve Barcelona like his previous time when he received Ballon'Dr 4 times for consecutive years from 2009 to 2012. But this may Ranaldo will get the Ballon'Dr.

There has another things when i going to compare between Messi and Ronaldo. Ronaldo already proved he can play well for his country and good striker for Portugal. But Messi still unable to prof that he can play for country and good for his country.
Because of in Barcelona  Iniesta pass the ball to the Messi to keep doing goal but in Argentina there has no Iniesta for reason Messi unable to play well Football for his country.

In that finally we can say Ronaldo is a player both for Portugal and Real Madrid whereas Messi only player of Barcelona not for Argentina.

Messi & Ronaldo share spoils in La Liga awards

The Argentine took home two awards from the annual LFP gala, while Diego Simeone was named as the best coach for his side's Copa del Rey victory
Lionel Messi was named ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo as the best player in La Liga's 2012-13 season at the annual LFP awards, but the Real Madrid forward was voted the most valuable player of the campaign.

The Barcelona attacker won the award for the fifth successive year and also took home the prize for top forward, while team-mate Andres Iniesta was voted as the greatest attacking midfielder in the division for the fourth time in five seasons.

Confusingly, though Ballon d'Or favourite Ronaldo missed out on the best player tag, he was given the MVP trophy at the fifth edition of the awards, which are held by the Primera Division's governing body.

"It is an honour and a privilege to receive this award," the 28-year-old said upon receiving the award. "I have to thank my team-mates and Madrid and all the people behind this award such as my family. I will try to keep fit to win more prizes at a collective and individual level."

Fellow Madrid player Asier Illarramendi won two titles on Monday: best midfielder and the breakthrough player of last season, which came ahead of his switch to the Santiago Bernabeu from Real Sociedad in the summer.

Best defender also went to a Madrid player, as Sergio Ramos took home the accolade for the second campaign in a row.

Diego Simeone trumped Tito Vilanova and Jose Mourinho - neither of which are still in their positions at Barca and the Blancos respectively - to the best coach award for guiding Atletico Madrid to Copa del Rey glory and a third-placed finish.

Rojiblancos goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, spending his third season on loan at the Vicente Calderon, won the prize for the top player between the sticks, while benched Real Madrid shot-stopper Iker Casillas took home the fair play prize.
